This museum is built around a reconstructed melting facility, and shows how coal and iron were extracted in the early Middle Ages. The museum
has no written information, but by means of sound, light, smoke and smells, the visitor will be taken on a tour one thousand years back in history. “The Viking’’ will tell you his story.
Opening hours 2010
Sunday 20 June and Sunday 27 June, daily between 1 July and
8 August, and Sunday 15 August, 11:00-17:00. Free admission.
